If you go to Paris, you can buy these on the street carts that are geared to tourists. Ive always had about one or two navy striped shirts or sweaters in my wardrobe. For some reason, I never thought to go to the store on Madison Avenue and buy from the actual brand of where it all began. I became more obsessed and bought one for the whole family. St. James in Normandy
If you visit the store, there will be a picture of a beautiful castle upon the beach. I asked what it was and of course it is the original factory were St. James began and still operates out of today. Of course they have additional location but either way, I am adding this destination to my list of travel destinations. They even give factory tours.
